Pastor Paul Turner Slack aka "Pastor Paul" - Meet our Staff

Pastor Paul Slack, a native of Wilmot, Arkansas, has worked in ministry for over twenty years. After growing up in an AME Zion church as a child, he joined a baptist church when he relocated to San Diego, California as an adult.

He prepared for ministry by serving under three senior pastors, serving as an interim pastor, and serving as a co-pastor. He also received a BA from Point Loma Nazarene College and a Masters of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological School. Each of these experiences helped him become a well-rounded minister and pastor.

Throughout his ministry Pastor Paul has worked with new believers and in discipleship ministry. Working in those areas, he learned the importance of meeting people where they are and then lovingly leading them to Christian maturity and godly living. That lesson has proved invaluable as he has worked as a Christian leader and Pastor to prepare God's people for service and ministry.

Pastor Paul is involved in his community. He serves on the leadership team at Hall Community School and on the PTO at Franklin Middle School. He also works with the African American Men Project as a commissioner.

Pastor Paul is married to Dedra Slack. Both the Slacks are passionate about their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and are intent on living a life of integrity and godliness. They have two teenage children, Paul and Caleb.

Feel free to send Pastor Paul an email at pastorpaul@adullamministries.org.

Our Beliefs - What We Believe

Our church is a community of believers with Jesus Christ as its head. We seek to love, respect and care for one another as a demonstration of our love for God.

Our outreach is to those who have no church home. Many in our area are disillusioned with religion. They have felt the sting of legalism with its impossible demands. Some have seen hypocrisy. Others have had no religious background and therefore see Christianity as irrelevant. The missing element has been healthy relationships with mature believers in Jesus.
